Green Tea Flavoured Pumpkin Seeds. At The Highlander, there are 2 bartenders. Alman(Man) and Alex. I always thought Alex hated me because I kept messing up my drink orders. Before today, he always grumbled and made faces at me whenever I ask him for ice or mixers or whatever else. But today, he was nice to me. Like AWFULLY NICE to me. He made me two Blue Curacao on the rocks and a Lime Margarita on the rocks. Just for me, as in secretly behind Jerome(manager)'s back. And he didn't do his usual "Aye what you want?". Instead, it was "Yes
darling, may I help you?" and "Pass me the bucket please,
baby."
YEAH BABY, LIFE IS CHANGING FOR THE BETTER.
Alex is much much much more approachable when he is in a good mood (i.e. when the bar is not busy). Actually, not to say the obvious but working at Highlander has its perks. And I'm loving it.

Today, a group of 20-year-old Korean- and Japan- born guys came to the Highlander. They were football players who played in the S-League. Anyway, there was this Park Myong Sik or something who, I guessed, appreciated my service alot. He waited till I knocked off just to say thanks.
IT'S A PITY HIS GRATITUDE DIDN'T COME IN THE FORM OF CASH. -

Also, a couple of days ago, Mus came to visit. Apparently, she's pretty close to some of the Cuba Libre people who are just next door to the Highlander. So naturally, we had fun.
All in all, I fucking love today to bits. I love my colleagues. If everyday at The Highlander was like today, I never want to leave. Ever.
