I just want to tell you how happy I am with life now. I mean, I feel I've accomplished so much more in two shopping days as compared to two studying months.
I made friends with Wendy Tan, a DKNY buyer. And this other malay lady from Christian Dior(Ngee Ann City branch), though I forgot her name.
I already made it to the Fendi and Dior mailing lists, and I'm aiming to become a Club 21 member(spend at least $500 in a single receipt) which isn't too hard as compared to a Dior VIP member(spend $30 000 in a year).
I made a special trip down to Hilton shopping gallery yesterday, and Four Seasons Hotel's Club 21 stores. Since then, I've decided to adore Stella McCartney's creations. This sales assistant at Club 21 Ladies tried to get me to buy a Stella McCartney pure silk kimono dress in navy. I love it, but it cost $1100. It's perfectly fine for a Stella McCartney to cost $1100 but if I was going to buy a $1100 dress, I'm better of at Fendi, Chloe or Dior.
So anyway, I've decided to abandon any wishes of getting the Mulberry Bayswater or Tod's Besonville. Instead, I'll aim for the THE bag that is the Chanel 2.55(in black with gold hardware). Now this is a worthy investment.
Of course a
mere Chanel can't beat the Hermes Birkin(average of $15 000). But if I could afford an Hermes Birkin, I would't be sitting in front of my computer. I'd be touring NYC and Milan.
By the way, I just wanted to add that my father is a good man:

I'm going to start a collection.
Yes, I'm going to collect designer bags.
So far, I've got two Calvin Kleins, two Fendis, two Diors, one Michael Kors, one Coach, one Ralph Lauren, one Gucci and three DKNYs.
I'm not extravagant.
I'm not hedonistic.
I'm not decadent.
I'm not lavish.
You can't call me these just because I collect designer
paper bags.
